Own Your Life by Sally Clarkson

Hello and happy new week, my friends!

I wanted to give you a friendly reminder that Sally Clarkson's new book, Own Your Life, comes out tomorrow!!! I have pre-ordered mine and cannot wait to dig in. I think the message in this book is one that Father is speaking over and over right now! 'There is more to life. Stop striving in vain. Come to Me and I will give you rest and show you My heart and what your purpose is. I will lead and guide you, through the ins and outs and deeper into more of Me and more of what I have for you on this earth.' These are exciting words and exciting days! We were made for more. 

Sometimes the dark seems stronger than the light, but don't fall for that ancient lie from the enemy of our souls. Speak the truth over yourself, over your family and into the atmosphere. The Light of Jesus lives in those of us who believe in and follow Him, and because He is in us, that Light is in us and is ours to shine. 

John 1:5 

The light shines in the darkness,

and the darkness can never extinguish it.

John 8:12

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, 

“I am the light of the world. 

If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, 

because you will have the light that leads to life.”

Let's do everything we can to walk out that Light. We need it, our families need it, our neighbours need it, our towns and cities need it, our country needs it, our world needs it!

I am so excited about this book from my sweet friend and mentor, who is so filled with wisdom and grace. I know that Father has given her amazing, glorious, life-giving words for us to take to heart. Maybe we'll even see our lives in a different Light. I believe our Kingdom-living depends on it!

Own Your Life by Sally Clarkson

Hello Friend!

I am so excited to share some wonderful news with you today! Anyone who knows me well or who has ever asked for a recommendation for a parenting book can tell you that I adore Sally Clarkson and have appreciated her wisdom over many years of parenting. She has written a number of books, which I can highly recommend, and today, I have the absolute pleasure of letting you in on the news of Sally's newest book, Own Your Life: Living with deep intention, bold faith, and generous love! 

I've been honored to read the first part of the book, and I cannot WAIT to read the rest of it. In Own Your Life, Sally shares her own story with us. She is a wife of 34 years, mom of four adult children and has so much beautiful wisdom to share. I have already gleaned so many important truths and encouragement from her over many years. I have a feeling this book is going to blow the encouragement factor to a whole new level!
