Musana Intl Homemade Jewelry #stronglikeyou

Hi my friend,

I didn't want you to miss out on this wonderful opportunity to support beautiful women and their families in Uganda!

Musana employs artisans in Uganda to create handmade, high-quality, and absolutely beautiful jewelry. But what I love even more than the product is the mission of Musana, which is this: to empower women and provide opportunities for their children, creating a generation of change. Fantastic, right? To support their mission, they provide their artisans with a steady salary, classes, subsidized schooling for their children, and subsidized health care. Each day they show how much they care about their employees, and I'm so inspired by that. That’s why 100% of all profits of this sale will be going back to Musana! WOW!!!

These bracelets regularly sell for $26.00 but are on sale for $10.50 each. They will go quickly, so don't hesitate to get yours now! #stronglikeyou

Blessings and love. xo

What I Wore Wednesday

I borrowed this top from Emma's closet for a "new" look, and all of my family exclaimed that they loved me in blue. Funny, I don't own anything this colour, but I agree that I love the colour, too.

What I Wore Wednesday (and an introduction!)

I am super excited about today's WIWW! And not just because I have a new shirt to wear!

First, my WIWW outfit . . .

new orange shirt - TJ Maxx (a Christmas present from Bob but haven't worn it until now because it was too cold!)
jeans - Kohl's
shoes - Target
bangle - H & M
earrings - ?

And now on to the exciting part of this post!  Today I have the honour of introducing you to my friend, Kamilla, and her new business venture, Make It Dutch!!! Check out these unique and fun headbands!

I have never really been a headband person because I apparently have a strangely shaped head or something that causes them to not stay on properly. They slip and I have to re-do them, and then I just end up saying forget it because it's frustrating and time-consuming. No more frustration! Kamilla is ingenious for sewing a wire into the fabric so that slipping is not an issue with her headbands! And her fabrics are SO much fun!

I will be back on Friday with more photos and a longer post dedicated to Make It Dutch, featuring my girls modeling their new headbands! Come back to see more then. Or go to the Make It Dutch Facebook or Twitter pages now to check out how to order yours!

And have a blessed and happy Wednesday! xo
