A Dream Come True

Hello,

I haven't been around much this past week. I had a phenomenal weekend, last week, and haven't quite recovered (nor am I really trying to recover!). I had the opportunity to drive to New Jersey for an amazing conference hosted by The Alabaster Group. I'm not really a conference go-er, although I see one or two advertised once in awhile that grab my interest. Normally, though, I don't have money in the budget to go or they just haven't been a priority.

Then why did I choose this one, you may wonder? Simple. Two of my spiritual heroes were going to be speaking, and it was only a five hour drive. It was a dream come true for me to go and hear them speak, meet them in person, and worship with them and hundreds of others who are seeking and living for Jesus and His Kingdom.

Not only were two of my heroes at this conference, I learned more about three other phenomenal believers who are impacting their corners of the world in beautiful, powerful, crazy ways. The theme of the conference was "Until the world is filled with love for Jesus"! Yes!!!

Here is a list of the speakers:

Heidi Baker
Bill Johnson
David Hogan
Joseph Garlington
Claudio Freidzon

If you were to ask me who are the people who have had the greatest impact on my spiritual life in the past decade, Bill Johnson would be at the top of the list, followed closely by Heidi (and Rolland) Baker. In fact, it was through Bill's ministry and Bethel Church that I learned of Heidi. They are dear friends and support and honour each other's lives and ministries. Bill's book, When Heaven Invades Earth and then Heidi's book, Compelled By Love have both been life-changing for me. Life-changing. They both carry the Presence of God and have incredible authority and power, with countless miracles on a weekly, if not daily, basis.

Here is an amazing example of Heidi's ministry in Mozambique. This witchdoctor was coming to kill her with his poisonous snakes. Watch what happens instead . . .

And then there's this man named David Hogan. I am so completely thrilled to know about him and his wife and family and their ministry in Mexico. He is a big, intimidating guy, and at the same time, completely loving. He walks in some crazy, Kingdom authority and has seen some miracles that I have never even heard of before. My faith was stretched and strengthened and reinforced by hearing his stories. And the fire tunnel David and Heidi led on the last night was powerful!

Father also blessed me with this precious group of friends to share and fellowship with all weekend. We met the first evening at dinner and will carry this time with us forever. I love Kingdom connections!

I hope to share more this week about where God is leading us these days. We would appreciate your prayers.

I'll also share more this week about two special baptisms we had last week!
Blessings and love. xo

The Ultimate Christian Living Bundle

Who among us doesn’t want to lead a life worth emulating? With great kids, a loving marriage, a successful career or business and a closer, faith-filled walk with the Lord. But for many of us, making that a reality is big challenge!

Balancing life’s priorities can seem a bit overwhelming at times. The pressures of work, the need for finances, the demands of parenting and the resulting strain on marriage can leave us weathered, weary and wondering what really works in life?

That’s where the Ultimate Christian Living Bundle comes in. Ultimate-Bundles.com called in some best selling authors, leading experts and top business professionals to address the most common challenges faced by families and individuals today – all from a solid, Biblical foundation.

For the ridiculously low price of just $34.95 (for the PDF version) or $39.97 (for the eReader version), you can get access to a carefully curated collection of eBooks and eCourses with a total combined value of over $1,140 that addresses these issues with stunning clarity and practical application.

For the family…

The bundle contains 10 wonderful books focused on incredibly inventive ways you can craft the marriage you signed on for. To complement that subject, they added 8 more books focused on parenting and passing on your faith to your kids. That wouldn’t be complete without books just for kids so they also included 8 children’s books that parents can read with their children. To close out the content for family life, the highly praised Singing Bible MP3 version was added (a $25 value all by itself). It actually teaches children the story of the Bible not just random stories.

For your professional life…

You will find John Muratori and Michael Pink’s six-hour Christian Wealth Building course ($77 value) which was complemented with Bob Lotich’s 31-day devotional Managing Money God’s Way. There are a total of 14 business related books and courses including Zig Ziglar’s powerful Born To Win course (that Seth Godin and Dave Ramsey rave about), Dr. James B. Richards, Wired For Success – Programmed For Failure and Untold Secrets for Creating Wealth by Brig Hart and John Beehner. You’ll even find one of the best selling Christian business books of all time, The Bible Incorporated – In Your Life, Job and Business.

To ignite your faith…

Rounding out the package, Bridge Logos and Moody Press made a series of classic Christian literature available from generals of the faith like Charles Spurgeon, D.L. Moody, A.W. Pink, E.M. Bounds, Calvin, Wesley, Edwards and more who wrote about grace, prayer, faith and an overcoming life.

In addition to these wonderful classics, the Ultimate Bundles team snagged 12 heart-stirring devotionals from authors like A.W. Tozer and Nancy Leigh DeMoss that speak to matters of faith that are sure to inspire. Let’s not forget Gary Chapman’s Extraordinary Grace or Ray Comfort’s Way of the Master for sharing your faith with others. Both heartbreaking and inspiring, don’t miss Philip Cameron’s, They Call Me Dad, the story of one man’s fight to save orphans from human trafficking.

So as you can see, the Ultimate Christian Living Bundle is an extraordinary value.

But it still gets better…

The Ultimate Bundles team asked several sponsors to step up to the plate and with no strings attached, provide meaningful BONUS GIFTS. One of the first to step up was Dayspring Greeting Cards who offered a choice of heart-warming gift card packages to choose from.  Another, is a downloadable DVD workout series for getting in shape and maintaining health. With a retail value of $62.99 it includes a Biblical study guide for stewarding your health.

Bonus gifts alone have a total retail value of over $160!

So now you know…

For as little as $34.95 you can receive over $1,140 worth of valuable eBooks and eCourses that address the issues of life most of us face at one time or another, from a profoundly Biblical worldview. The BONUS GIFTS alone are worth more than four times the price of the bundle! So, if you want to ignite your faith, strengthen your family and help your professional life, there’s no better place to start! All the hard work has been done for you…

The Ultimate Christian Living Bundle will only be on sale for 6 days – from 8am (EST) on Wednesday, November 5th until 11:59pm (EST) on Monday, November 10th.

Grace Note Gifts

Hi Friends! I have something fun to share with you today. I want to introduce you to my new friend Grace of Grace Note GiftsI have gotten to know Grace, mostly from Instagram, where she shares about her soy wax melts business. One day I noticed that she had asked which of four new scents she should add to her shop. The first one or two people to comment with a particular scent won a sample! How fun is that? And it just so happens that I won the Sage and Lemongrass scent. Grace included four other scent samples for me to review (see photo above).

About Grace:
I'm a wife and homeschooling Mom to 3! I'm passionate about my family, faith and I LOVE coffee and candles...if you couldn't tell from my IG feed, lol! ;-)

I began making wax melts a little over 2 years ago after a lifetime (literally) of loving scents. My Mom has said when I was little I'd go around with her empty gum wrappers in my little purse and would smell them and called them my "smellies", lol. Isn't that funny?! I don't remember that, but I do know that I've always loved things that smelled good, especially candles and I am a candle buying addict. SO, I thought why not make them! Haha!

I use 100% soy wax in my wax melts. I like soy wax because it burns clean (in candles), it's sustainable and biodegradable! Most of my fragrances are infused with essential oils which gives them more of a true to life fragrance. I am pretty picky about what I make...if I don't like it, I don't sell it! :-)

My thoughts:
I LOVE these soy melts from Grace Note Gifts. When my package arrived in the mail, my children came running in with it saying "Mom, it smells like candy!" Haha! I think they were a tiny bit disappointed that the package wasn't filled with Skittles or some other edible, fruity deliciousness, but when I explained what was in the package, they were still eager to open it up and find out what a soy melt was.

We took turns smelling each of the 5 scents:

We liked all of them, but the hands down favourite was and is Indian Summer, which is a delicious combination of peaches, pineapples, lemons, limes, melons and apples. It is warm and summery and happy. And Grace has SO many more scents from which to choose.

If you're not familiar with soy melts, they are so simple to use. Just break off a cube and put it in your electric or tea light warmer. The wax cube melts and gives off a wonderful fragrance. Even though I love candles, I like this idea, as well, since there is no flame with an electric warmer (which is what I have). If you enjoy candles, you may really enjoy these melts. I have mine in my kitchen, but it would be nice in any room in the house. I even have one of the little cups (in the photo at the top) sitting on my dryer. The cube doesn't melt when the dryer is on, but it is potent enough with the warmth from the dryer to give out a wonderful smell without even being melted.

I highly recommend Grace's products and hope you'll go to her Etsy shop to check them out now! They would make great gifts for graduation, birthdays, Christmas, house warming or "just because".

Disclaimer: I won a giveaway on Grace's IG account for the 3oz soy melts. The samples were sent for review purposes. I received no other compensation. All opinions are my very own.

What I Wore

Happy Wednesday!

I had a very fun surprise yesterday when my sweet Emma gave me an early Mother's Day gift. Remember when I mentioned that I had put this shirt on my wish list?

Well, Emma apparently reads my blog, or well, maybe I showed it to her online once, or who knows. But she remembered and ordered it for me with her hard earned money! Such a sneaky girl!

I love it and am proud to wear it! And after almost 22 years of marriage, I somehow keep surprising Bob with my chic but eclectic tastes. He laughed but thinks it's pretty cool.

Here are a couple of necklaces I have my eye on, as well. Both are from ILYCouture.com, which is where to buy the "Wifey" tee.

And check out these cute items from NoVae Clothing. They are just adding more and more adorable pieces all the time.

I love colour and coral is such a beautiful addition for your spring wardrobe. This is the 1/2 Sleeve Textured Dolman and is on clearance right now for only $12.99.

The Shoulder Lace Back Sweater Tunic is also on clearance and is only $14.99. This would be super cute with either jeans or leggings.

And how fun is this adorable outfit! I love the Boyfriend Jeans, the Striped Short Sleeve Tunic and the Striped Fedora

What do you think? Which of these items do you like?

I'm linking up with The Pleated Poppy.

Blessings and love. xo
