Time 4 Learning Review

I was given a one month subscription to Time 4 Learning website in exchange for review of their product.

Time4Learning is an online curriculum for grades Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 where the content is delivered over the Internet for a monthly subscription fee. The program consists of language arts, math, science (grades 1 - 6); social studies (grades 2 - 7). The lessons use a combination of interactive activities, animation, and, if desired, printable worksheets.

Click here to view an interactive
Scope and Sequence. There is also a
Free Demo section here.

Students use Time4Learning for homeschooling, as an after school enrichment or as a summer school program. Whether mainstream, gifted or special needs, Time4Learning provides a flexible, student-paced approach.

I used Time4Learning in my homeschool with my four  younger children. They all enjoyed the online learning aspect and the different lessons and this free trial came at the perfect time for us.  I started a part-time job, in which I could take my children with me.  All we had to do was just pack up the laptop and they could all work on their  Time4Learning schoolwork at work with me.  It was fantastic! They enjoyed the animation and the variety of lessons and have been asking me when they can log on again to continue their learning.

What's great for me as the mom is the reports section.  I can log on and check out each student's progress. There is also a parents' forum for sharing ideas with other parents from all over the world.

The monthly membership is $19.95 for the first child and $14.95 for each additional child, with nothing else to buy. Your billing cycle begins on the day of registration and members are billed every 30 days, until you contact them to cancel. When an account is cancelled, members will have access to the program until the end of their billing cycle.

Thank you to Time4Learning for the opportunity to review their program. Disclaimer: I was given a one month subscription to this website in exchange for my honest review on this blog. No other compensation was received. All opinions on this blog are my very own.

Birthday man-child

Wow! I can't really call him a boy anymore, eh? He is a young man now and such a wonderful one, at that. Austin recently celebrated his 12th birthday (I am very late posting this due to life being busy). What a joy he is to our family.  He is the quiet reserved one of this crew but underneath all that stealthy tranquility lies a joke just waiting to burst forth.  Seriously, this child (okay, so I'll still refer to him as a child) is funny!  He has had me laughing with tears rolling down my face many times. Especially when he provides a voice for our cat, Elliot.  Oh my!

Here are some shots of his big day...

Love you, Bud! Thank for being so steady and calm and for bringing so much fun and laughter to our family. Enjoy being 12!
