Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus: Built To Amaze

I was so thrilled to have the opportunity for Bob and I to take our two younger girls to the circus this week for opening night! Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus is celebrating the 143rd edition of The Greatest Show On Earth with Built To Amaze! Circus performers from across the globe come together in this spectacular show, along with magnificent elephants, ferocious tigers, colourful clowns, awe-inspiring acrobats, aerialists and balancing acts.

Ava and Maya had never been to the circus, and they were beyond excited!
We arrived an hour early so that we could enjoy the All Access Pre-Show where we were allowed to go down on the floor to meet some of the entertainers and see some of the animals up close.  Here is Ava clowning around with cute Lindsay!
And we all got into the silly fun of being a clown for a night.

Andre McClain does a marvelous job as the dynamic ringmaster. He and  Alex and Irina Emelin gave such energy to the show.
I have loved the circus since I was a little girl. The elephants were always one of my favourite acts to watch.
The tigers were stunning and we were mesmerized them and by trainer Tabayara Maluenda.
I think the human canon was one of Ava's favourite acts.
The Danguir Troupe wowed us with their tightrope skills.
The Duo Solys performance demonstrated unbelievable skill and strength in a balancing act like I've never seen before. This was one of the most impressive parts of the show, in my opinion. Hector and Tatiana did a beautiful job, and I am still amazed by their strength and grace. Wow!

I won't spoil all of the fun and breath-taking acts for you. There is so much more to see. You'll just have to go and watch this exciting show for yourself! It was truly amazing, and we enjoyed every entertaining and thrilling moment!

For those in the DC Metro area Built to Amaze is taking place now through April 20 at the Patriot Center. Go HERE for tickets. And in other parts of the country, go HERE.

Blessings and love. xo

Disclaimer: I received four passes for opening night in exchange for my honest opinion. I was not required to write a positive review and all opinions are my very own.
