Praying for Russia

Please pray for these faithful brothers and sisters in Russia who are under persecution. This is a church that was demolished by a mob, including some police officers, in Moscow in the middle of the night last week.

They met at their demolished building yesterday to worship anyway. Not only that, but they stood for 2 1/2 hours in the pouring rain.

Would I, would we, as Americans or North Americans, be so steadfast and committed to have stood outside in the pouring rain to take a stand for our belief in Jesus and to worship Him? As my friend, Ron, who has been to this church and has ongoing relationships with the believers there said on his Facebook page, "Our trials are so light compared to what people like this are facing."

Apparently, there were signs on one of the walls that is still standing that read "The building is demolished - church is ALIVE".
