When we lived in Canada, coupons and bargains were, frankly, hard to find. I never understood why that was, but being back in the States has been quite eye opening when it comes to researching deals and finding coupons. There are opportunities galore.
I think most people, in this day and with this economy, are looking to save money. I'm sure it comes as no surprise, if you've been reading this blog for very long at all, that I am very eager to save money whenever and wherever I possibly can. My husband is working two jobs, one involving support raising for the ministry for which he works. Emma, my oldest, is also working two part-time jobs. I did have a part-time job earlier this year, but it was just a temporary project and now I am back to wife, mom, homemaker, and homeschool teacher full time, which includes trying to make the money we do have go farther than ever before.
Here are the top coupon and money-saving websites and blogs from which I have gleaned much information...
All You Magazine - Free sample every day
A Passion For Savings - I have recently discovered Heather on Facebook and, boy, is she on top of the deals!
A Thrifty Mom - Coupons, online deals, recipes, etc.
Brad's Deals - A little bit of everything!
Coupons and Freebies Mom - Jaime has some great coupon info.
5 Dollar Dinners - Erin has some great recipes, along with money saving meal ideas.
Money Saving Mom - You may remember the two ebooks I have promoted recently on my blog. Crystal Paine is the author and this is her website. Grab a coffee and get ready to learn from her experience and research.
Red Plum - a coupon site
Retail Me Not - This site has been a wealth of store codes for online shopping. You can also look 'free shipping' and see which stores have codes right now.
SavingStar - I really like this one for coupons because they "clip" to your store rewards cards and there is no need to print anything. This one also give cash back through your pay pal account.
Swagbucks - Earn Swagbucks for searching the internet and get gift cards to Amazon, Pay Pal, Walmart, iTunes and many more! Check it out!
There are many more out there, including all the reward cards/loyalty programs that stores have these days. There are other money-making opportunities, too, some of which I am checking out, like online surveys.
