Happy Labour Day and happy first week of school for many of us! I need the holiday today to get my act together. I am not quite ready. How did summer go by so quickly? I really do not know, but I am eager to get our new school year started on the right track. I hope to get some muffins/quick breads baked and in the freezer today to make breakfasts a little easier. We're going to be easing into a more structured routine this week, after spending the summer in very relaxed mode.
Here's my plan for suppers:
Monday - Leftovers or sandwiches
Tuesday - Crock Pot Italian Roast (served on flour tortillas with diced tomatoes and sour cream), salad, steamed broccoli
Wednesday - Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas, guacamole, salsa, chips
Thursday - Chicken Caesar Salad, Focaccia bread
Friday - Homemade Pizza, veggie tray
Saturday - Leftovers
Sunday - Snack-y supper
What's on your menu for this week? Don't forget to hop on over to Menu Plan Monday on orgjunkie.com (although, maybe due to the holiday, it hasn't been posted at this time) for hundreds of other menu ideas! And have a blessed week! xo
You have a tasty week lined up! Those enchiladas sound delicious. Do y'all ever plan meals out? We're so bad about going out. :(
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
XOXO,
Meredith
Hey Mer! I have been thinking about you and your new homeschooling adventure! May you know the favour and grace of the Father as you embark on this exciting journey!!!
DeleteGirl, we LOVE to eat out. However, since we have seven mouths to feed, eating out is not usually in the budget. We will occasionally do Chinese take-out or order a couple of pizzas. Bob and I took the little girls to our favourite Mexican place a couple of weeks ago, but there were only four of us, so . . . We would love to do so more often. And no guilt, my friend. Your do what you need/want to do! No worries!
Much love!
