Emma has been involved in a fabulous high school co-op with 30-40 other home schooled students this school year. She has taken interesting classes (Lord of the Rings, poetry, first aid/CPR and two semesters of drama) and formed many beautiful new friendships.
This semester for her drama course, she tried out for the production of Pygmalion and landed the part of Mrs. Eynsford-Hill. It was so much fun hearing her learn her lines and especially, learn to speak with a consistent British accent! This past week was "production week" and a very busy and fun week it was.
We went as a family to the Friday afternoon show and were thrilled to watch everything come together and everyone play the parts they have been studying and working so hard for in the past four or five months.
I was very impressed with everyone! Bravo!!!

Blooms
The younger four children and I went to the Rock Garden this week while Emma was in drama rehearsals. It was a glorious spring day and the blooms were incredible.
We are thankful for spring!

All Ontario Choir 2011
Emma had the privilege of participating in a choir for the first time over the weekend. It was part of the Strings, Etc. group and was held in Brantford. Thursday, Friday and Saturday were packed with learning and practicing the pieces, participating in group activities and games, eating delicious food, making new friends, meditating on devotions and just having a fabulous time making more priceless memories. Emma also had a fun time spending both nights with her precious friend, Janelle.

On Saturday night, they had the Finale to display their hard work and musical talent.

Thank you to all of the organizers and parents who helped to make this event a reality! And a special thanks to Janelle and her lovely family for hosting Emma. Love you guys!
Be blessed!

Saturday Sunshine
We took advantage of the gorgeous sunshine and the fact that one of our favourite gardens had opened for the season and spent time enjoying the wonderful outdoors on Saturday!
