Mount Kenya

I don't have any pictures from Bob yet, but I found this one and wanted to show where he is right now. Mount Kenya is the second largest mountain in Africa. The pictures I found on-line were incredibly diverse. In a message I received today, Bob said it is much more lush and green than the village he was in previously. It sounds like it has been a place of refreshment, physically and spiritually, for them. There apparently is not as much witchcraft in the village he is in now. He wrote 'stunning scenery and even more beautiful people'. I am thankful that God is connecting him (us) with brothers and sisters in Kenya...what a joy!

  1. Hi Friend

Just found your blog via your FIAR post. I'm praying for you and your family while your dh is away. Praying for his travels too.

Loved seeing the pictures. What a beautiful family!!! I didn't know you were hoping/planning to adopt. I am fervently praying that will be in our future as well.

    Blessings,
    Leslie

  2. Hi Les! Thanks so much for your prayers.

God put international adoption on our hearts when Bob and I took separate trips to minister in Russian orphanages at the beginning of our marriage (before any of our children were born). We have had a prophecy spoken over us regarding adoption and I have had a dream (the kind with a message from the Lord), so I believe adoption IS in our future. We're just waiting on the Lord!

    Love you!

  3. Scarlett,

What a sweet way to hear from the Lord! I'm so glad that you shared it. It's exciting to know a bit of God's plan in advance sometimes, isn't it? I look forward to hearing that part of the story when the time is right.

    Love
    Leslie
